200 participants tels que les parents, les enseignants, les leaders communautaires, les chefs traditionnels et religieux, les responsables des associations de femmes, les chefs de famille et les membres de la communauté, ont pris part à des rencontres communautaires, soit 50 participants par préfecture.
En plus d’avoir renforcer les capacités des leaders traditionnels et des parties prenantes dans la lutte contre les violences faites aux filles et aux femmes dans leurs communautés, ces rencontres ont permis à ces derniers d’échanger sur divers aspects, notamment les obstacles à l'épanouissement des filles et des femmes, la méconnaissance des lois et les problèmes de collaboration entre les acteurs impliqués dans la lutte contre les violences basées sur le genre.
